Privacy Policy

This page explains what Invest or Invent LLC ("IOI," "we," "us") collects when you use investorinvent.tech, what we do with it, and who can see it. It applies to this website only — not to work we do on a client's behalf once you've engaged us, which is governed by your service agreement.
What we collect
When you submit the case intake form, we collect what you enter directly: your name, email, and (if provided) phone number; who you're submitting on behalf of, if not yourself; the platforms involved; URLs you'd like reviewed; a description of the situation; and the urgency you select. If you contact us by email instead, we collect whatever is in that email.
We do not use tracking cookies, third-party analytics, or advertising pixels on this site. We don't know who you are until you tell us.
How we use it
- To review your case and respond with next steps or a written quote.
- To communicate with you about a submission or an active engagement.
- Internally, to track case status and time — the same system our team uses for every client, whether or not you become one.
We do not use intake submissions for marketing, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone.
Who sees it
Submissions are reviewed internally by IOI staff and are not shared with third parties, except:
- Where necessary to file a removal request or notice on your behalf, once you've engaged us — for example, sending a DMCA notice to a platform necessarily involves that platform.
- Service providers who process data on our behalf under standard confidentiality terms (for example, our database and email providers), who don't use it for their own purposes.
- Where required by law.
How long we keep it
We retain intake submissions and case records for as long as reasonably necessary to evaluate your request and, if you engage us, to provide and document our services. You can ask us to delete information that isn't subject to a legal or contractual retention requirement — see below.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@investorinvent.tech. We'll respond within a reasonable time. Deleting information tied to an active or past engagement may be limited where we have a legal or professional obligation to retain it.
Security
Submissions are stored in an access-controlled system available only to authenticated IOI staff. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we don't leave intake data in the open — this form doesn't email your submission in plain text or post it anywhere public.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
